  • January 2024: Corning International Corporation (Corning) announced plans to invest US$ 120.4 million for setting up a new manufacturing unit in Tamil Nadu, India, in a joint venture with Optiemus Infracom Limited, which is an Indian telecommunications company that manufactures mobile phone components and laptops.
